ericchowreal.com is the personal website of Eric Chow, based in Union City, California. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

The site has three forms, submitted through Netlify Forms, the form service of the site’s host:

• Behind the Scenes, the newsletter: your email address, an optional first name, and the page you signed up from.
• Appearance inquiries: your name, email address, organization, event details, and your message.
• The contact form: your name, email address, a topic, and your message.

Behind the Scenes

Sign-ups for Behind the Scenes, Eric’s newsletter, are reviewed by the newsroom of Mashman Consulting Group LLC, where Eric is Chief Operating Officer, which issues releases for Eric, for Isaac Mashman, and for every MASHMAN company. Approved addresses are kept on the newsroom’s private list and receive releases and updates by email, sent through Resend, the newsroom’s email provider. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe: reply with the word remove, or write to contact@mashmancg.com. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.

Information Collected Automatically

The site’s host, Netlify, processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to serve and secure the site. The site’s fonts are served by Google Fonts; loading them shares the same kind of technical request data with Google.

This site does not load analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking scripts, and it sets no cookies for visitors. The only cookie the site uses is a session cookie for the site’s own editors when they sign in to its dashboard.

How Information Is Used

• To respond to inquiries, including appearance inquiries.
• To send Behind the Scenes to the people who subscribed to it.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the site.
• To meet legal obligations.

Sharing

Personal information is not sold. It is shared only with the service providers named here, to the extent required to operate the site and the newsletter, with Mashman Consulting Group LLC for Behind the Scenes, or where disclosure is required by law.

Retention

Inquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you have submitted by writing through the contact form.

Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 16, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 16.
